The Roanoke Valley Booster Board is pleased to announce the return of our annual Booster event. Join us at The Preserve at Crooked Run on Friday, May 19, 2023 for cocktails, dinner and fellowship! We will kick the evening off with a Cocktail Reception at 5:45, serve dinner at 7:00, and continue to connect during the After Party!

The Preserve is located 40 minutes from Roanoke in Fincastle. The grand lodge is a gorgeous space that can comfortably hold at least 150 persons and includes an outdoor space featuring a small pond, covered pavilion, and infinity pool. Amenities include clay shooting, fishing, paddle boards, and the pool. We have the run of the property all day Friday, Friday night, and Saturday until we leave. Friday evening will feature our traditional cocktail reception & dinner with after party. SWVA’s finest cover band, Empty Bottles, will deliver stirring renditions of Yacht Rock and other retro jams. Bring your dancing shoes!

Lodging/Transportation: The Preserve offers 7 rental cabins of varying shapes and sizes, many of which have multiple bedrooms. About 50 persons could stay in the cabins. See the web link above for details. We also have reserved 20 rooms at the historic Liberty Trust Hotel in downtown Roanoke. Please book directly with Liberty Trust and mention you are a Booster for our special rate! Shuttle service will be available for a modest fee to transport guests from downtown Roanoke to the Preserve and back.

Sport Shooting: The Preserve features an Orvis-Designed sporting clays course with excellent views of Peaks of Otter and the nearby National Forest. This makes the course one of the most unique to enjoy in the region. The Preserve is offering discounted rates for guests.
